Privacy policy

This policy explains what Everline Media LLC (“mottajara”, “we”) collects when you use this website or receive our emails, why we collect it, and how to have it removed.

What we collect

When you browse

• Standard request data: pages viewed, referring page, browser and operating system.
• Your IP address, which we store only as a one-way cryptographic hash. We use it to count unique visits and to rate-limit abuse. We cannot recover the original address from the hash.

You do not need an account to browse this site, and we do not require you to log in.

When you subscribe to emails

• Your email address.
• Optional: first name, country, language, and the interests and categories you select.
• Evidence of your consent: the date and time you subscribed, the page you subscribed from, the exact wording of the consent statement you agreed to (version 2026-01-v1), your IP address and your browser user agent. We keep this to demonstrate that your subscription was requested by you.

When you receive our emails

• Whether a message was delivered, bounced or reported as spam.
• Whether a message was opened, if open tracking is enabled. Open data is unreliable — privacy features in Apple Mail and corporate scanners register opens that never happened — and we treat it accordingly.
• Which links you clicked, so we can send you fewer irrelevant offers.

Our tracking links contain a random token and nothing else. Your email address never appears in a link, a redirect or a URL we hand to an advertiser.

When you click through to an advertiser

We record the click and pass an anonymous click identifier to the advertiser or network so they can tell us a sign-up happened. We do not pass your email address or name. Once you land on the advertiser’s site, their privacy policy governs what they collect — not this one.

When you contact us

Your name, email address and the content of your message, kept so we can reply and handle follow-ups.

Why we’re allowed to use it

• Your consent — for marketing emails. You can withdraw it at any time.
• Legitimate interests — running and securing the site, preventing fraud and abuse, and measuring which offers our readers find useful.
• Legal obligation — keeping records that prove an email subscription was consented to.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

• Our email delivery provider, in order to send the messages you asked for.
• Our hosting provider, which stores the data on our behalf.
• Advertisers and affiliate networks, and only in the form of an anonymous click identifier.
• Law enforcement, where we are legally required to.

How long we keep it

• Subscriber records: until you unsubscribe, plus the period needed to keep you suppressed.
• Suppression list: indefinitely. This is the record that stops us emailing you again, so deleting it would defeat its purpose.
• Consent records: for as long as we can be asked to prove your subscription was valid.
• Hashed request logs: a rolling window for security and abuse prevention.

Your choices and rights

• Unsubscribe: use the link in any email, or request an unsubscribe link. We act on it immediately.
• Change what you receive: your preference centre lets you pick topics, change frequency, pause emails, or leave a single category.
• Access, correction or deletion: email privacy@mottajara.com and we will respond within the period required by the law that applies to you.
• US state privacy rights: residents of states with a consumer privacy law may have the right to know, delete, correct, and opt out of sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal information as those laws define it, but you may still exercise the other rights at the address above.

Cookies

We use a session cookie for our own staff dashboard, a short-lived cookie to protect forms against cross-site request forgery, and two cookies that remember your language and country choices. We do not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies on this website.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has subscribed, contact us and we will remove the record.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date above. Material changes affecting how we use your email address will be announced by email before they take effect.
