Affiliate disclosure
Last updated January 2026
In one sentence: mottajara earns a commission when a reader signs up for an offer through our links, this never changes what you pay, and payment does not buy a recommendation.
Why this page exists
The US Federal Trade Commission requires websites to disclose material connections with the companies whose products they promote. We agree with the rule, so this disclosure appears in our site footer, on every offer page, and here in full.
How we get paid
We participate in affiliate and CPA (cost-per-action) programs. When you click through to an advertiser from this site and then complete an action — opening an account, starting a trial, requesting a quote, making a purchase — the advertiser or their network may pay us a fee.
The amount varies by offer and is sometimes a fixed fee, sometimes a share of revenue. We receive nothing if you simply browse, and nothing if you don’t qualify.
What it costs you
Nothing. Compensation is paid by the advertiser out of their marketing budget. You do not pay a higher rate, price or fee for arriving through our link, and you don’t get a worse offer than going direct.
What compensation does not do
- It doesn’t set our rankings. Payout is not a factor in our editor’s picks.
- It doesn’t buy silence. If an offer has a catch, we say so on the offer page.
- It doesn’t create listings. An offer that fails our checks isn’t published, whatever it pays.
- It doesn’t hide anything. Every outbound offer link is marked as sponsored.
Not every link is paid
Some offers we list pay us nothing at all — we include them because they’re genuinely the better option for some readers. We don’t mark those separately, because assuming a link may be compensated is the safer habit for you as a reader.
What we are not
We are not the provider of any offer on this site. We do not approve applications, set eligibility, issue products or handle your account. Approval, terms and pricing are decided entirely by the advertiser. Nothing here is a guarantee of approval or of any specific outcome.
Our emails follow the same rules. When a message contains compensated links, it says so, and every message includes an unsubscribe link, a preference-centre link and our postal address.
